aso Account & Data Deletion

aso gives you control over your account and personal information.

If you no longer want to use aso, you can request deletion of your aso account and associated personal data.

1. How to Delete Your aso Account

You can request account deletion through either of the following methods:

From the aso App

Open the aso app.
Go to your account or profile settings.
Select Account Deletion or Delete Account.
Follow the instructions shown in the app.
Confirm your deletion request.

From the aso Website

You can also request account deletion through the account deletion facility available on:

aso.com.bd

The web-based deletion process is provided so that you can submit an account deletion request even if you are unable to access the aso app.

2. What Happens After You Request Deletion

Once your deletion request is submitted, aso may verify the request to protect your account from unauthorized deletion.

After verification, your account will be scheduled for deletion.

Account deletion may result in the permanent removal or anonymization of information associated with your account.

3. Information That May Be Deleted

Depending on the information associated with your account, deletion may include:

Account profile information
Name and contact information
Profile photo
Account preferences
Location-related account information
Community posts and other user-generated content associated with your account, where technically and legally applicable
Comments and reactions associated with your account
Job posts
Booking-related user information
Saved or account-specific information
Chat and communication data associated with your account, where applicable
Other personal information associated with your account

Some information may be anonymized rather than permanently removed where complete deletion would affect legitimate platform operations or other users' records.

4. Information That May Be Retained

In certain circumstances, aso may retain limited information where reasonably necessary for:

Legal or regulatory compliance
Fraud prevention
Security and abuse prevention
Financial or accounting records
Resolving disputes
Enforcing agreements and policies
Protecting the rights, safety, and security of aso or others

Where retention is required, the retained information will be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose and will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

5. Active Bookings and Transactions

If you have active bookings, unresolved disputes, pending refunds, or other ongoing transactions, you may need to complete or resolve them before account deletion can be finalized.

If applicable, aso may temporarily retain limited information necessary to complete these processes.

Account deletion does not automatically cancel financial obligations or invalidate legitimate transaction records.

6. Community Content

If you have published content in aso's community, deletion may affect that content.

Depending on the feature and technical design, some content may be deleted, anonymized, or remain in a form that is no longer associated with your identifiable account.

This may be necessary to preserve the integrity of community discussions, records, reports, or interactions involving other users.

7. Deletion Is Permanent

Account deletion is generally permanent.

After deletion is completed, you may not be able to recover your previous account, bookings, community activity, messages, preferences, or other account-related information.

If you wish to use aso again in the future, you may need to create a new account.

8. Withdrawal of a Deletion Request

If aso provides a pending deletion period or cancellation option, you may be able to withdraw your request before deletion is completed.

Once deletion has been completed, the account may not be recoverable.

9. Data Deletion Requests

If you want to request deletion of specific personal information without deleting your entire aso account, you may contact aso through the available support channels.

We may need to verify your identity and request before processing the request.
