aso Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last Updated: September 27, 2026

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations and refunds may work when you use aso to book services or hire providers.

aso operates as a local service marketplace connecting users with independent service providers.

1. Service Bookings

When you request a service through aso, the booking may remain pending until the provider accepts or confirms it.

You may cancel a booking where cancellation is available through the app.

The availability and amount of any refund may depend on:

  • Whether the booking has been accepted

  • Whether the service has started

  • The reason for cancellation

  • The timing of the cancellation

  • Any applicable payment or platform fees

  • Whether the provider has already incurred reasonable costs

  • The specific terms displayed for the service

2. Cancellation Before Provider Acceptance

If you cancel a booking before the provider accepts or confirms it, the payment may generally be eligible for a refund, subject to the applicable payment method and any clearly disclosed non-refundable charges.

Where no payment has been captured, cancellation may simply close the booking request.

3. Cancellation After Provider Acceptance

Once a provider has accepted a booking, cancellation may be subject to additional conditions.

If you cancel after acceptance, the refund amount may depend on how close the cancellation is to the scheduled service time and whether the provider has already committed time, resources, or other reasonable costs.

Any applicable cancellation terms may be shown during the booking process.

4. Cancellation After Service Has Started

Once a service has started, cancellation does not automatically create a right to a full refund.

If there is a genuine issue with the service, you should contact the provider and/or aso support as soon as possible.

We may review the circumstances before determining whether a partial or full refund is appropriate.

5. Provider Cancellation

If a provider cancels an accepted booking before the service is completed, you may be eligible for a refund of the applicable amount paid for the cancelled service.

Where appropriate, aso may also help you find another available provider or service option.

6. Provider Does Not Arrive

If a provider fails to arrive for an accepted booking without reasonable notice, you should report the issue to aso as soon as possible.

We may review the booking records and communications and determine whether a refund or other resolution is appropriate.

7. Service Quality or Incomplete Service

If you believe that a completed service was materially different from what was agreed, incomplete, or otherwise involved a significant issue, contact aso support promptly.

You may be asked to provide relevant information such as:

  • Booking details

  • Photos or other evidence

  • Communication records

  • Description of the issue

  • Information about what was agreed with the provider

aso may review the available information and communicate with the parties involved before determining an appropriate resolution.

8. Job Posts and Bids

Posting a job and receiving bids does not by itself guarantee a completed service.

If you hire a provider through a job post, the resulting booking or service may be subject to the cancellation and refund terms applicable to that transaction.

Submitting a bid does not automatically create a payment obligation unless the applicable transaction or booking process requires payment.

9. Disputes

If you have a dispute with a provider, you should first communicate through the relevant booking or job conversation where possible.

If the issue cannot be resolved, you may contact aso support.

aso may review relevant information, including:

  • Booking records

  • Job posts

  • Bids

  • Chat messages

  • Payment records

  • Cancellation records

  • Ratings or reviews

  • Other relevant platform information

The outcome of a dispute may depend on the circumstances and available evidence.

10. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will normally be processed through the applicable payment method or payment provider.

The time required for the funds to appear in your account may depend on the payment provider, bank, mobile financial service, or other payment method used.

aso does not control processing times imposed by third-party financial institutions.

11. Third-Party Payment Providers

Some payments may be processed by third-party payment providers.

Where a third-party payment provider's terms apply to a transaction, its processing and refund procedures may also apply.

For purchases made through Google Play billing, Google Play's applicable refund process and policies may apply.

12. Non-Refundable or Non-Recoverable Amounts

Certain charges may be non-refundable where clearly disclosed before payment or where permitted by applicable law.

aso will not use this section to remove any mandatory refund or consumer rights provided by applicable law.

13. Fraudulent or Unauthorized Transactions

If you believe a transaction was unauthorized or fraudulent, contact aso and, where applicable, your payment provider immediately.

aso may investigate suspicious transactions and may delay, restrict, or reverse transactions where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud or comply with legal requirements.

14. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or report a service-related issue, use the support options available through aso or aso.com.bd.

Please provide:

  • Your account information

  • Booking or transaction reference

  • Date of the transaction

  • Reason for the request

  • Relevant supporting information

Providing complete information helps us review the request efficiently.

15. Policy Updates

aso may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time.

The updated version will be published on aso.com.bd with a new "Last Updated" date.
