Welcome to aso.

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of aso's website, applications, marketplace, community features, and related services.

By creating an account or using aso, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use aso.

1. About aso

aso is a Local Community & Service Marketplace that connects users with local communities and service providers.

Through aso, users may:

  • Discover local services

  • Book listed services from providers

  • Post jobs and service requirements

  • Receive bids or offers from providers

  • Hire a provider

  • Communicate with providers

  • Participate in local community activities

  • Create and interact with community content

  • Rate and review completed services

2. Eligibility

You must meet the minimum age and legal requirements applicable to you to use aso.

By using aso, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally permitted to use the service.

3. Your aso Account

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information

  • Keeping your account information updated

  • Keeping your login credentials secure

  • Maintaining control over your account

  • All activity conducted through your account

You must not create an account using false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

You must not use another person's account without authorization.

4. Using aso's Service Marketplace

aso provides a platform that helps users discover and connect with service providers.

A service may be obtained through two primary methods:

4.1 Booking a Listed Service

A provider may list a service on aso.

You may review the available service information and submit a booking request.

A booking becomes confirmed only when the relevant booking process indicates that the provider has accepted or confirmed the request.

4.2 Posting a Job

You may post a job describing the service you need.

Providers may submit bids or offers in response to your job.

You may review available bids and select a provider.

Submitting a job does not guarantee that a provider will accept or complete the job.

5. Service Providers Are Independent

aso is a marketplace platform that facilitates connections between users and service providers.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, service providers are independent third-party providers and are not employees, agents, or representatives of aso.

The actual service is provided by the selected provider.

You should review the provider's profile, service information, ratings, reviews, price, bid, and other relevant information before making a decision.

6. Service Information and Pricing

Providers are responsible for the accuracy of their service listings, descriptions, availability, and bids.

Prices and service conditions may vary depending on the provider, service requirements, location, timing, materials, and other factors.

You should confirm important service details with the provider before the service begins where necessary.

7. Bookings and Job Requests

When using aso, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate service requirements

  • Provide a suitable service location

  • Provide information reasonably necessary to complete the service

  • Respond to provider communications when necessary

  • Be available at the agreed time where required

  • Avoid submitting fake, misleading, or abusive requests

You should not create multiple fake bookings or job posts for the purpose of misleading providers or manipulating the marketplace.

8. Bids and Hiring

When you post a job, providers may submit bids or offers.

A bid is an offer from a provider to perform the requested service under the terms stated in the bid.

You are responsible for reviewing bids and selecting the provider you wish to hire.

aso does not guarantee that a bid represents the lowest, highest, best, or most suitable offer.

9. Payments

You agree to pay the applicable amount for services you book or accept through aso.

Where online payment is available, payment may be processed through aso or an authorized third-party payment provider.

You must not use fraudulent payment methods or attempt to circumvent applicable payment requirements.

10. Cancellations and Refunds

Bookings and services may be subject to cancellation and refund rules.

The applicable rules are described in the aso Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Different circumstances may result in different cancellation or refund outcomes.

11. Ratings and Reviews

After a service, you may be able to provide a rating or review.

Reviews should be:

  • Honest

  • Relevant to the actual service

  • Based on your genuine experience

  • Free from threats, harassment, discrimination, or abusive language

You must not submit fake reviews, manipulate ratings, or offer compensation in exchange for misleading reviews.

aso may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable policies.

12. Community Features

aso includes local community features.

You may create posts, comments, events, questions, alerts, and other community content where those features are available.

You agree not to use community features to:

  • Harass or threaten others

  • Spread knowingly false or misleading information

  • Post illegal content

  • Share another person's private information without authorization

  • Spam or excessively promote unrelated services

  • Impersonate another person or organization

  • Upload malicious software or harmful content

  • Publish content that violates applicable law

  • Abuse emergency, crime, safety, or reporting features

You are responsible for the content you publish.

13. Local Information and Community Alerts

aso may provide local updates or allow users to submit community information, including safety-related or local authority-related information.

Such information may come from users, providers, public sources, authorities, or other sources.

aso does not guarantee that every community post or local update is accurate, complete, current, or officially verified.

Users should exercise appropriate judgment and, where necessary, verify important information through official sources.

14. Prohibited Activities

You must not use aso to:

  • Commit or facilitate unlawful activity

  • Defraud or deceive other users

  • Circumvent aso's payment or marketplace systems

  • Manipulate bookings, bids, ratings, or reviews

  • Create fake accounts

  • Scrape or collect user information without authorization

  • Send spam or unauthorized promotional messages

  • Upload malicious code

  • Abuse reporting systems

  • Infringe intellectual property rights

  • Harass, threaten, or exploit other users

  • Attempt unauthorized access to aso systems

  • Interfere with the operation or security of aso

15. Account Suspension or Termination

aso may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • These Terms are violated

  • Fraudulent or abusive activity is detected

  • The account creates a security or safety risk

  • False information is provided

  • The platform is being manipulated

  • Required by law or a lawful authority

Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to address an issue.

16. User Content

You retain responsibility for content you submit to aso.

By submitting content, you grant aso the permission necessary to host, store, display, reproduce, and process that content for operating and providing aso's services.

You confirm that you have the necessary rights to submit the content and that it does not unlawfully infringe the rights of another person.

17. Intellectual Property

The aso name, branding, software, interface, design, graphics, text, and other platform materials are owned by or licensed to aso unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, sell, or commercially exploit aso's platform or proprietary materials without appropriate authorization.

18. Third-Party Services

aso may use third-party services for payments, communications, hosting, analytics, maps, notifications, authentication, or other functions.

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.

19. Disclaimer

aso provides a platform for connecting users and service providers.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, aso does not guarantee:

  • The availability of every provider

  • The accuracy of every listing, bid, review, or community post

  • That a provider will accept or complete a service

  • That every service will meet your expectations

  • That the platform will always be uninterrupted or error-free

20. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, aso will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other losses arising from your use of the platform or from interactions between users and independent service providers.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The updated version will be posted on aso.com.bd with an updated "Last Updated" date.

Your continued use of aso after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

22. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of Bangladesh, subject to any mandatory rights or protections that apply to you under applicable law.
